| Can we meet you? |
Yes please! I love to catch up at a local cafe or bar so we can get to know each other, and you can run through your plans with me and we can work out the perfect solution. Also so we can just have a good old chinwag.
| How many images will we receive? |
This is a really hard question to answer, because it really depends on what happens at your wedding. The more wedding "activity", the more images. The more time I am there, the more images. If I had to give you an estimate, it's around 100 photos per hour of coverage, but could be more or less depending on your wedding.
| How does the booking process work? |
A simple $1000 deposit will secure your date. I'll then do up a contract for you to look over and once you've agreed to that, you're all set!
| Do you have a second shooter? |
Yes, I have a second shooter with me for a minimum of four hours (usually during getting ready, ceremony and portraits), but you can request them to stay longer at a rate of $60/hour.
| Do you travel interstate or overseas? |
I love travelling for weddings, whether it's within Victoria or beyond. If you're worried about the cost, just get in touch, we can talk things through. There may be a travel fee for flights and accommodation, but depending on my calendar there might be some room to move. Just drop me a line.
| We're not really sure how to plan our day... can you help? |
I spend a large number of my weekends attending weddings and have seen a lot! I can definitely help you figure out how to time your wedding for the best light, or to maximise the time I am with you. I can also give you advice about how to plan your reception times. Let's catch up over a coffee!
| We're really self conscious and hate posed photos |
To be honest, this is most people. I love relaxed, natural photography, and try my best to make you feel at ease on your wedding day. If you book me, don't expect to be directed a whole lot, but just enough. It's to ensure you feel comfortable, and to make sure you're in the best light and look amazing! No one is used to being photographed (unless you're a model) but I promise it will be fun!
| How much time do we need for photos? |
If you're having the photos in the same location as the ceremony and reception, probably around 40 minutes (not including time for congratulations and family photos after you're hitched). If we need to drive around, this time will increase, but please factor in at least 40 minutes shooting time, and 30 minutes for the post-ceremony congratulations and family photos.
| Will you help us find a great location for our photos? |
If you're not sure where you want your photos taken, I am happy to scout out a location/s for you. But I'm equally happy to take your wedding portraits in a location you've chosen. This is something we can figure out closer to the day.
| What is included in your packages? |
Every package includes travel within 100km from Melbourne's CBD, print and web-sized images on a wooden USB packaged in a beautiful wooden box, plus a few prints thrown in for fun!
| How long after the wedding will we get our photos? |
To be on the safe side, I'd say around 6-8 weeks after the wedding (particularly when it's wedding season) but often it's within a month.
| Do you use a flash? |
Pretty much the only time you'll see me with a flash is on the dancefloor, or if the room is very dark and I need some extra light. But generally I love to shoot without flash... it's produces a much more natural image.
| Do you offer albums and prints? |
I will be offering fine art albums and framed prints from 2018 onwards. More information to come.
