As someone expecting a baby boy very soon, spending an hour with 4-year-old Jack and his mama and step dad recently was kind of like a little view into my future! A pocket rocket, Jack is the epitome of personality, full of energy, life and wonder at the world. These guys sure know how to have fun. Enjoy this insight into life with their 4-nager!

The King Family | Melbourne Family Photographer

Despite what you might think, Winter is such a magic time for family photos. If the weather is fine, the magic hour between 4 and 5:30pm is spot on, and right before dinner/bath/bed time. Perfect, no?

Chuck in a beautiful family with so much love, a gorgeous field and the most divine curly locks you've ever seen and well... this is the King Family.

Emma, Andrew + Baby Harry

There's something about that first baby. The joy, the pride, the doting love that is given freely despite the sleepless nights and the not so great days. It's a love that over-rides. Little Harry is 3 months old and the apple of his Mum and Dad's eye. The morning I spent with them was a beautiful time to soak it all in (plus a few outfit changes - gotta get through the whole wardrobe!).

I first met Gemma when she was pregnant while shooting her sweet as home for Apartment Therapy [you can check out the house tour here] and I knew straight away she was going to have the coolest baby around. Well, enter: Dusty Priscilla, the cutest babe I've ever met (aside from my nephew of course!). I was beyond thrilled when they let me into their lives again to document life with little D and Olly the cat.

The Giliam Family: Melbourne Family Photographer

It's not often you are asked to photograph a family of five girls, including a set of twins. So I count myself lucky to have had the chance to spend such a happy afternoon with this lovely brood of lasses (and one bloke!). The girls were rather enchanted (as were we all) by the magical redwood forest and even more excited about the possibility of holding some balloons!

Thanks for having me, Giliams xx
